About Clothed in Love
Clothed in Love provides free clothing packs to tamariki and whānau across Ōtautahi Christchurch. We work alongside referral partners and supporters to ensure children have access to practical essentials with dignity. As demand grows, we are strengthening our governance capability to support long-term sustainability and impact.
The Role
We are seeking a Board Chair who will:

Provide governance leadership and strategic oversight

Foster a collaborative, high-performing Board culture
-
Guide long-term planning and risk management
-
Ensure compliance and strong financial oversight
-
Act as an external ambassador for Clothed in Love
Quarterly in-person Board meetings are held in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced governance leader with:

Not-for-profit governance experience
-
Financial and risk capability
-
Strategic oversight experience
-
Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
-
Alignment with Clothed in Love values
We strongly encourage expressions of interest from Māori and those with a deep understanding of te ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
